Certification objectives
The objectives of the “Bachelor Manager opérationnel en hôtellerie de luxe” professional certification are to equip students with the operational and managerial skills required to take on management positions within the hospitality industry. This programme provides an ideal foundation for pursuing higher-level qualifications such as the Master’s programme in Luxury Hospitality or the MBA in Luxury Hospitality.
The “Manager opérationnel en hôtellerie de luxe” professional certification, registered with the French RNCP under No. 39241, certifies that its holders have both the skills required to manage the day-to-day activities of a department’s employees in the luxury hospitality sector and the professional skills that contribute to the operations and performance of the hotel in which they work.
Bachelor graduates holding the “Manager opérationnel en hôtellerie de luxe” certification will be equipped to:
BLOCK 1: Managing teams through a management style adapted to the luxury environment

BLOCK 2: Managing services marketing in luxury hospitality

- Develop a marketing mix incorporating CSR, inclusion and environmental responsibility requirements
- Implement the commercial strategy throughout the guest journey
BLOCK 3: Managing quality in the luxury environment
- Monitor and assess quality management within the operational department
- Develop a continuous improvement plan adapted to the standards and codes of the luxury sector
- Manage team working time and organisation
- Design risk management tools
- Develop a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) at department level
BLOCK 4: Managing the operations of hotel departments
- Develop monthly and annual sales forecasts
- Prepare and manage the operating budget for the department
- Analyse departmental KPIs (key performance indicators) against objectives
- Analyse changes in departmental performance against budget
BLOCK 5: Managing event projects within a luxury establishment
- Conduct competitive intelligence
- Map the production and implementation of an event
- Prioritise actions according to project management methodology (PMI methodology)
- Effectively plan and manage an event
- Prepare project monitoring and coordination

Upon completion of the Bachelor, students can continue their studies at Luxury Hotelschool towards a Bac+5 qualification at business school level, through either the French-taught Master’s programme or the English-taught MBA.
Admission to Year 1
Entry requirements: French Baccalauréat or equivalent qualification (A-Levels, High School Diploma, IB, etc.).
English language requirements: IELTS 5.5 – TOEFL minimum 70 – TOEIC minimum 785.
French language requirements: TCF, DALF or DELF at B2 level if French is not the language in which the student completed their previous studies.
Admission to Year 2
Entry requirements: Applicants must have completed, or be in the process of completing, one year of higher education (Bac+1), equivalent to 60 ECTS credits, 30 US credits or equivalent.
Admission to Year 3
Entry requirements: Applicants must have completed, or be in the process of completing, two years of higher education (Bac+2), equivalent to 120 ECTS credits, 60 US credits or equivalent.
Tuition fees

For the full-time programme, half-board (breakfast and lunch), study trips and student experiences (Palace overnight stay, Michelin-starred lunches, team-building activities, visits, industry meetings, etc.) are included in the tuition fees.
Teaching methods and programme structure
Format: full-time programme, with six months of classes at the school followed by a five-month internship in a company.
Teaching methods: theoretical courses, professional practice workshops, business simulations and project management.
Assessment methods
Certification requirements: attendance at intermediate assessments is required in order to take the final assessment. This requirement ensures that all intermediate assessments have been completed and submitted.
Certification assessment: case studies, oral presentations, individual reports, essays and reflective analyses.
Luxury Hotelschool may provide specific arrangements for assessments for learners with disabilities or those requiring particular accommodations.
The certification is awarded through the successful completion of all five competency blocks.
