Welcome to the heart of unspoilt nature, in a lush setting of 8 hectares, a stone's throw from the Medina of Marrakech. It is here, within the Es Saadi Marrakech Resort, 5* establishment, that Yassin Melehi carries out his late 3rd year Bachelor internship at the Luxury Hotelschool. An environment where French luxury and refinement are subtly combined with the tradition of Moroccan hospitality.

“The Es Saadi has a special place in my journey because it is the establishment in which I completed my discovery internship in the 3rd and which gave me the taste of the hotel industry,” testifies Yassin. “This is a family-run and historic Marrakech hotel that combines tradition, luxury and modernity.”

In the sales department, Yassin's mission is to develop, maintain and retain the FIT customer portfolio (individual travellers) internationally. “I work in collaboration with tour operators and travel agencies mainly. I also conduct a competitive monitoring and offer, in line with Marketing and Revenue Management, new promotional offers/packages to support the recovery of the sector. Finally, I also worked on the CAP proposal (Trade Action Plan) for 2022.”

After these first months of internship, Yassin particularly appreciates the “welcome” he has benefited, “the rapid integration into teams” and “the real responsibilities entrusted to me on important topics”.

In order to take full advantage of this enriching experience at Es Saadi and to be able to enhance its skills and know-how, Yassin praises teaching at the Luxury Hotelschool hotel school which allowed him “to quickly understand the profession, to be operational and to have an overall vision of a high-end establishment. Studying in constant contact with hoteliers and Palaces have also allowed me to be at the level of standards required in the world of luxury. This internship very well complements my classes at school as I was able to associate my theoretical knowledge with practice and thus be a force of proposal on a daily basis.”
