The well-being of employees for a better quality of service

Welcome to Avenue Hoche in Paris, equidistant from Parc Monceau and the Arc De Triomphe. Raffles (bought by Accor in 2015) manages one of the most striking hotels in terms of art: Le Royal Monceau. Within this prestigious Palace, the furniture designed and created by Philippe Starck is accompanied by works of art from the Hotel's Private Collection.
Lise Grenouillet, who is doing her internship at the end of her third year Bachelor of Hotel Management at the Luxury Hotelschool, tells us a little more: “The Royal Monceau represents French luxury, rigor and excellence for me, with a unique artistic signature. Art is represented at all levels in the establishment (Art Library, works of art, frescoes, Katara cinema...), and is conveyed through our Art Concierge. This is the first Palace to imagine this tailor-made profession and to offer this service.”
“What I like the most is the family atmosphere and the benevolence that reigns within the establishment. By maintaining the objective of perfection, all employees are driven by the same passion and are committed to making customers happy. The well-being of employees is really put forward and is part of the quality of service and the well-being of the customer.”
“My main missions are team management, room control, public spaces, preparation of customer arrivals and administrative tasks. Very varied missions with a common objective: to make the customer's stay a unique and unforgettable experience. My personal goal is to learn the profession of housekeeper in a Palace to achieve excellence, both at the managerial and technical level.”
“This internship complements our courses at the Luxury Hotelschool and allows us to put into practice the theory learned during the first part of our training for future managers in luxury hotels. In addition, the values conveyed by the hotel school allow us to quickly integrate into the professional world, because we all share the same commitments and the same passion. The management and leadership courses in particular allowed me to have the necessary perspective and good practices to be able to manage teams with cohesion and harmony.”
