Welcome to the Parisian palace that certainly offers the most beautiful view of the capital. In the heart of the 16th district, close to the Eiffel Tower, the Shangri-La is installed in the former residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte, listed as a Historic Monument. It is here that Lou-Anne Lavernaux does her internship at the end of her first year of Bachelor's degree at the Luxury Hotelschool, as part of the joint program with the hotel school EHL Hospitality Business School “VET by EHL”. “This is a superb opportunity to be able to live a first operational experience on the ground in this establishment that reflects both Asian hospitality and the French art of living.”

“In room service, as a team member, I prepare the various orders and bring them up to the room,” says Lou-Anne. “I also prepare amenities for customers and arrange them in their rooms before their arrival. After my first few weeks of internship, I feel that I am better at mastering the sense of detail. Taking care of the customer, being attentive to every detail to deliver an authentic 'room service' experience to customers: this is what pushes me to constantly improve myself while respecting the service standards specific to luxury and Shangri-La.”
