Saly Villeneuve, 1st year Bachelor student, internship at Hôtel Sezz Saint-Tropez

Intimacy, softness and serenity. A few hectometers from the famous Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez, Hotel Sezz shines with its elegance, refinement and tranquility. It is in this haven of peace on the French Riviera, where excellence is the watchword, that Saly Villeneuve carries out her 1st year Bachelor internship at the Luxury Hotelschool.
“Living my first hospitality and restaurant experience at this 5-star establishment is a great opportunity with a lot of responsibility for my young age,” she appreciates. “The Sezz is an emblem of luxury in the heart of Saint-Tropez, a popular place where you welcome a demanding clientele, including the Michelin-starred Colette restaurant.”
Versatile, Saly fulfills a large number of missions every day, very formative: booking taking, coordination with the reception and concierge, room service orders, assistance in setting up the terrace and service alongside the top chefs, monitoring the customer relationship to guarantee a unique experience...
“This internship reinforces my vision of the importance of mastering foreign languages in the hospitality industry. Maintaining direct contact with a foreign clientele is a great way for me to practice English on a daily basis, as we do all year round at the Luxury Hotelschool during our classes.”
Every day, Saly particularly appreciates evolving in a “pleasant and serene context thanks to well-coordinated and well-coordinated teams, constantly listening to customers. During the year at school, we discover and learn the codes of customer-side luxury with the Luxury Experience program, so we better understand the demands of customers and can anticipate their expectations. What's interesting about the Sezz is also to confront what we learned at school with the service standards specific to the Colette gourmet restaurant.”
