Patricia Van de Put: My training at the Luxury Hotelschool gives me the opportunity to develop and consolidate my skills in terms of leadership and cross-cultural management

“Continuing my Master's studies at the Luxury Hotelschool was essential to enrich my management knowledge.” To encourage rapid development during her professional career, Patricia Van de Put decided, in the continuity of obtaining her Bachelor's degree at the Luxury Hotelschool, to follow the Master's course in three semesters, always at LH.

“My training at school gives me the opportunity to develop and consolidate my skills in terms of leadership and cross-cultural management. It gives me a lot to improve my emotional skills in relation to the diversity of cultures within teams in the luxury hotel industry. And since I aspire to become a manager, it is also essential to study all forms of leadership. This is the heart of our Master's program.”

Well-being at the service of student motivation is not a vain notion within the Luxury Hotelschool hotel school. “Being able to meet the directors of Palaces every week is a privilege that enhances us humanely and allows us to measure the efforts to be made. We also have the chance to attend courses and seminars in the most beautiful Parisian establishments, such as the Bristol and the Ritz, to be in constant contact with the world of luxury.”

In the field, Patricia has also gained a great deal of experience. As Head of Rank at Holland America Line, an American cruise ship owner, then as Receptionist at the Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal in Paris, then at the Palais Gallien in Bordeaux. “During my internship at the Palais Gallien, I benefited from real autonomy and great versatility in my actions. With strong responsibility for making important decisions and good stress management in times of rush.”

This year, she will complete her Master's internship at the Sofitel Arc de Triomphe as an assistant in charge of accommodation to “learn even more about team management and develop new creative skills”.
