François Chevalier, Master student at the Luxury Hotelschool Paris

“I decided to continue my Master studies at the Luxury Hotelschool to deepen my knowledge and leadership skills. In the luxury hotel and restaurant sector, it is essential to learn all the characteristics of leadership so — in the long term — to be able to unite and unite all the stakeholders of a palace to ensure a service beyond the expectations of the client.”
After obtaining a Bachelor's degree at the Luxury Hotelschool, François Chevalier is currently pursuing the Master's degree program, with a particular interest in management & leadership, digital marketing, business strategy, city marketing...
Before joining the LH hotel school in 2020, François led a BTS course in Hospitality/Catering at the Lycée Saint-Martin, in Amiens. In particular, he did an internship at Plaza Athénée. “It was after this first experience of luxury, in one of the most beautiful palaces in Paris, that I wanted to continue my studies at the Luxury Hotelschool.” Among his BTS teachers: Stéphane Collet, Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2019, whom he accompanied as a clerk during the famous competition.
During the summer of 2021, François seized the opportunity to conduct an internship as an assistant manager F&B at the Palais de l'Elysée. “It was then my first management experience with, in particular, personnel management, negotiation with suppliers, supply management, cost calculation and optimization of returns, drawing up the map...”
This summer, François is going to complete his Master's internship at the Mandarin Oriental Paris as assistant manager Stewarding. A new and very enriching experience in one of the most beautiful palaces in the capital.
