An apprenticeship in hotel management in the world of luxury
“I chose the dual program at the Luxury Hotelschool for a double benefit: the recognition of a diploma from a grande école on the one hand, and on the other hand the opportunity to have a very formative first professional experience in the hotel sector.”
On an apprenticeship at the Auberge du Jeu de Paume in Chantilly, in the position of governor, Cédric Tarquin alternately follows the Bachelor of Management program for luxury hotels at the Luxury Hotelschool hotel school.
After initial studies in Public Law and Political Science and an initial experience as a parliamentary assistant, Cédric wanted to reorient himself: “It was therefore crucial for me to join both the best school there is and a hotel establishment where I would be able to catch up on my experience by completing a year of highly operational work-study study.” A first step before continuing your Master's studies and looking at a career as a manager in the luxury industry.
At the Auberge du Jeu de Paume, a luxurious Relais & Châteaux member hotel, located in the heart of the gardens of the Domaine de Chantilly, Cédric enjoys a certain versatility and multiple responsibilities. An experience that fulfills him and that perfectly complements his education at school.
“Coming from another hotel school, I am pleased to note that we are working more diligently at the Luxury Hotelschool, in smaller classes to further personalize the training and support of students. In addition, the premises are very upscale and mean that we are constantly evolving in a luxurious atmosphere. At Luxury Hotelschool, we are not focusing on the hotel industry but on luxury hotels! And international at that.”
