A Luxury Hotelschool student in the heart of the new Bulgari hotel in Paris

Welcome to Paris in the latest jewel designed by Bulgari Hotels & Resorts. Inaugurated in December 2021, just a few weeks after the opening of Bulgari Place Vendôme, the Bulgari Hotel Paris sits on Avenue Georges V, in the 8th arrondissement of the capital, and keeps its promise to offer an unforgettable Dolce Vita experience, in line with the values of the Roman jewelry house.
It is in this luxurious and refined setting that Leo Tovagliaro carries out his internship at the end of the 2nd year of Bachelor of Hotel Management at the Luxury Hotelschool, as part of the joint program with Lausanne VET by EHL. “Because of my Italian origins, it was important to me to have a professional experience in this brand new Bulgari establishment.”
Signed by the Milanese architecture studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the decoration is certainly the master asset with high-end finishes: Arabescato marble, Vicenza stone, straw marquetry, wall silks, eucalyptus woodwork, walnut parquet... “It is a contemporary palace that breaks the codes of traditional luxury somewhat”, enjoy Leo.
“My role as Butler (butler) is to respond to the demands of a largely VIP clientele. To do this, we also make sure to exceed their expectations by deepening and pushing the ultra-personalization of the service and the customer experience. It requires a lot of listening, attention, observation. We need to be savvy and have a 360-degree vision.”
“I have a real and strong appetite for service. The relationship with an international clientele is very rewarding in terms of multiculturality because we have to adapt to the preferences and habits according to our guests. The Bulgari teams quickly integrated and empowered me. This experience is the ideal extension of my operational front office courses at the Luxury Hotelschool.”
