The BA is prepared in 3 years or in one year as a top-up. The Bachelor is recognised at level-6 in France (RNCP) and graduates also receive a degree from London South Bank University.

Students can obtain a joint diploma with EHL (Lausanne) in year 2.

A diploma by EHL

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and the Luxury Hotelschool Paris join forces to offer a vocational diploma in Paris, delivered by EHL. The diploma is obtained in two years to progress to the last year of the Bachelor's.

Michèle Cosma has worked for 15 years in the luxury hotel industry. Director of events in the some of the most beautiful luxury hotels in Paris (Hôtel de Crillon, Prince de Galles, Royal Monceau, The Peninsula and Le Lutetia), she notably took an active part during the inauguration of the Peninsula in 2014 and the reopening of the Lutetia in 2018.

Luxury Experience

All the programmes at the Luxury Hotelschool offer the rare opportunity to live the luxury experience, and even to stay in the most beautiful hotels in Paris with « A night at the Palace » in the Bachelor's degree. The academic study of luxury is thus completed by a field study.

Field trip

The programmes include one-week field trips to Marseille, Barcelona, Reims or Bordeaux to discover major tourist regions and meet in the field the hoteliers and managers of the grandes Maisons.

Open day at the Palace

The Luxury Hotelschool regularly organizes meeting days in Parisian Palaces for future Bachelor and Master students of the school with workshops on luxury, the French tradition but also careers and the luxury experience programme.

Professional network

The Luxury Hotelschool has been the school for luxury careers for 30 years, luxury hotels sponsor the graduations each year: the Ritz in 1996, the Hotel de Crillon, the Lutetia, the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, the Bristol, the Meurice, the Shangri-La in 2020, and La Réserve, sponsor of the 2021 cohort.

  • Duration: 3 years
  • Admission requirements: A-level or high school diploma, or any other bac equivalent, CEFRL C1 in French

  • 1st year's content: first-level EHL certificate and luxury experience (codes of luxury, a night at the Palace, organisation of the gala and field trip in Paris)
  • 2nd year's content: EHL professional diploma (supervision of front-office and housekeeping operations, hotel etiquette and protocol, hotel accounting and budgeting, law, rooms sales and marketing, people training and development, purchasing, rooms administration and the art of butler service, hotel & restaurant concept foundation, hotel trends and innovation) plus the luxury experience (lectures mostly in French)
  • 3rd year's content: negociation and sales, serious game, event management, quality management, project management, business strategy, international communication, luxury code seminars, and a one-week field trip in Champagne (optionnal 30% in French) plus 3 online modules (Leadership and management, managing cultural issues and a management research report)
